L’Occitane en Provence — The Manufacture

L'Occitane en Provence localisation du projet Manosque

In the heart of Haute-Provence, an immersive visitor experience that showcases the House’s expertise and its close connection to the land, brought to life by graphic signage designed to serve as a guiding thread.

In Manosque, the brand’s historic birthplace, L’Occitane en Provence is opening the doors to its reimagined Manufacture: a complex bringing together the production site, its garden and its museum-boutique. Designed as a sensory experience, the venue invites visitors to take a behind-the-scenes look at how the products are made, the brand’s expertise and its Provençal roots.

The tour takes visitors on an immersive journey that highlights L’Occitane’s ‘Cultures’ — the cultures of plants, crafts, regions and creativity — all of which are intimately linked, tracing half a century of history and the bonds forged with Provence. Accessible and air-conditioned,the tour is suitable for both individual visitors and groups, and is available in both French and English.

It is within this framework that Museum Manufactory and its workshop Lézard Graphique have developed all the graphic elements that punctuate the tour, from design to on-site installation, in collaboration with Arc-en-Scène, the scenographer and lead contractor for the consortium. This work ensures visual coherence to serve the narrative, remaining true to the brand’s identity and way of life.
